ESI Equipment. Inc., the parent company of Junkyard Dog industries (JYD Industries), has made an assessment resulting in a switch in rescue strut strap suppliers for the overall benefit of the end-users and in support of the US military as well as US-based manufacturing.
With the recent change in strap suppliers, all Junkyard Dog Rescue Strut straps are now Berry Compliant, 100% made in USA, and made with strength and vigor in mind for some of the toughest military applications. Junkyard Dog Rescue Strut’s new straps are engineered with enhanced durability and so that they can keep a strong, tight grip over the load with maximum wear resistance, helping to make the securement job easier- all while meeting and exceeding several additional industry standards.

Why Berry Compliance Matters?
The Berry Amendment has been critical to maintaining the safety and security of our armed forces by requiring specific fabrics/textiles to be produced in the United States, as well as ensuring the continued operation of certain US production lines, jobs to American factory workers, and safeguarding the U.S. military from dependence on foreign sources for critical items that could lead to supply problems. With respect to textiles and clothing, the Berry Amendment has been critical to the viability of the textile and clothing production base in the United States.
